Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026

Quanta Intellect ("we," "us," or "our") builds open-source developer tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our products and services, including Vessel Browser, the Vessel Android app, Vessel Premium, related backend services, and the quantaintellect.com website.

1. What We Collect

Vessel Browser and Vessel for Android:

  • Vessel stores browsing data, page content, bookmarks, highlights, sessions, settings, automation audit entries, and AI conversation history locally on your device.
  • When you use your own AI provider or custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint, requests are sent from your device to the provider you configure using the API key you provide. We do not receive or store those bring-your-own-key requests.
  • When you use the Vessel AI subscription runtime, requests are sent to the Vessel Premium backend at vesselpremium.quantaintellect.com, which verifies entitlement and proxies OpenAI-compatible chat requests to OpenRouter. These requests may include your prompt, recent conversation context, and page context needed for the assistant to respond.
  • If you subscribe or buy usage top-ups through the Android app, Google Play handles payment processing. The Vessel Premium backend receives purchase tokens and product IDs from the app so it can verify purchases with the Google Play Android Developer API.
  • If you subscribe through a desktop or web checkout, payment processing may be handled by Stripe. We do not see or store full payment card details.

This website (quantaintellect.com):

  • We use Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity for website analytics (page views, scroll depth, click patterns). No payment information is collected through these tools.
  • We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to third parties.

2. AI Provider Data

Vessel supports both bring-your-own-key usage and a Vessel AI subscription runtime. In bring-your-own-key mode, your API key is stored locally on your device and requests go to the endpoint you choose under that provider's privacy policy. In Vessel AI subscription mode, requests are routed through the Vessel Premium backend to OpenRouter so we can provide access, enforce usage limits, and track entitlement status.

3. Vessel Premium

When you use Vessel Premium, the following data may be processed:

  • Email address — used to identify your subscription and support account recovery.
  • Customer and entitlement IDs — used to issue and refresh Vessel subscription tokens.
  • Google Play purchase data — package name, product ID, purchase token, subscription status, expiration time, and top-up purchase tokens used for verification.
  • Stripe customer ID — used only if you subscribe through a Stripe-powered desktop or web checkout.
  • Usage metadata — request counts, token counts when returned by the model provider, estimated inference cost, plan budget, remaining budget, and top-up credits.

Payment card details and platform billing information are processed by Google Play or Stripe, depending on where you subscribe. We never see or store full payment card numbers. See Google Payments Privacy Notice and Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Vessel application data such as settings, bookmarks, highlights, sessions, history, and saved transcripts is stored locally on your device unless you export it or send context to an AI endpoint as part of using the assistant.
  • The Vessel Premium backend stores entitlement and usage state needed to verify subscriptions, refresh access, and enforce plan budgets. It does not store your local browsing history, bookmarks, saved sessions, or website credentials.
  • We use HTTPS for all production network communication with Vessel services.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Play Billing and Google Play Android Developer API — Android subscription, top-up purchase, and purchase-token verification
  • OpenRouter — AI model routing for the Vessel AI subscription runtime
  • Stripe — payment processing for desktop or web Vessel Premium subscriptions, when offered
  • Google Tag Manager — website analytics
  • Microsoft Clarity — website behavior analytics
  • GitHub — source code hosting, issue tracking, and release distribution
  • npm — package distribution
  • Cloudflare — DNS, security, and website/API infrastructure

6. Your Rights

Since Vessel stores most application data locally on your device, you can delete that data from within the app where controls are available, by removing the app's local data, or by uninstalling Vessel. Android subscriptions and top-ups are managed through Google Play. Web or desktop subscriptions, when offered through Stripe, are managed through the Stripe Customer Portal. You may also contact us to request deletion of Premium account or entitlement data.

7. Children's Privacy

Vessel is a browser and AI-agent tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
