Terms of Service

Effective date: July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vessel Browser and related services provided by Quanta Intellect ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Vessel, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Software

Vessel Browser is open-source software released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with that license. These Terms govern the additional services we provide, including Vessel Premium.

2. Vessel Premium Subscription

  • Vessel Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features, hosted AI access, and/or higher usage limits in Vessel Browser and Vessel for Android.
  • Android subscriptions and usage top-ups are billed through Google Play. You can manage, cancel, or request refunds for Android purchases through your Google Play account, subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies.
  • Desktop or web subscriptions, when offered, may be billed through Stripe. You can manage or cancel those subscriptions through the Stripe Customer Portal or by contacting us.
  • Available plans, prices, trials, included usage, and top-up amounts may vary by platform and will be shown in the app, checkout flow, or store listing before purchase.
  • Vessel AI subscription usage may be subject to inference budgets, request limits, token limits, abuse-prevention checks, and other technical limits needed to keep the service reliable and economically sustainable.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vessel to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Engage in unauthorized access to websites or services
  • Distribute malware or engage in activities that harm other users or systems
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription verification mechanisms

Vessel is a browser automation tool. You are responsible for ensuring your use of automated browsing complies with the terms of service of the websites you visit.

4. AI Provider Usage

Vessel can connect to third-party AI providers using API keys or endpoints you provide, and it can also route requests through a Vessel AI subscription runtime backed by third-party model providers such as OpenRouter. Your use of third-party AI providers is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the outputs, availability, pricing, model behavior, outages, rate limits, or policy decisions of third-party AI services.

Vessel AI subscription access is provided on a best-effort basis and may be limited, throttled, changed, or temporarily unavailable based on provider availability, abuse prevention, plan limits, or operational constraints.

5. AI Agent Actions and Outputs

Vessel enables you to direct AI agents, automations, workflows, and third-party AI models to interact with websites, browser sessions, and online services. You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs and automated actions may be inaccurate, unintended, incomplete, or harmful if not properly supervised.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, approving, supervising, and controlling any actions taken through Vessel, including actions performed by AI agents, automations, workflows, or third-party models. Quanta Intellect is not responsible for any decisions, content, transactions, submissions, communications, purchases, data changes, account activity, or other actions initiated, approved, or allowed by you through Vessel.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Vessel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Vessel will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The software is under active development and may contain bugs. Vessel currently makes no security assurances — do not use it for sensitive operations requiring hardened security.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quanta Intellect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use Vessel
  • Any automated actions performed by AI agents through Vessel
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party conduct or content accessed through Vessel

8. Your Responsibility

Vessel enables AI agents to perform actions in a web browser. You are responsible for supervising agent activity and for any actions taken through Vessel on your behalf. Use the built-in approval modes and supervision features to maintain control over automated workflows.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quanta Intellect, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of Vessel, your use of AI agents or automated browsing, your violation of these Terms, your violation of third-party rights, or your violation of any website, platform, or service terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Vessel after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
