Terms of Service

Effective date: March 25, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vessel Browser and related services provided by Quanta Intellect ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Vessel, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Software

Vessel Browser is open-source software released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with that license. These Terms govern the additional services we provide, including Vessel Premium.

2. Vessel Premium Subscription

  • Vessel Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features in the Vessel Browser application.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from Vessel Settings).
  • New subscriptions include a 5-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@quantaintellect.com for refund requests.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vessel to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Engage in unauthorized access to websites or services
  • Distribute malware or engage in activities that harm other users or systems
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription verification mechanisms

Vessel is a browser automation tool. You are responsible for ensuring your use of automated browsing complies with the terms of service of the websites you visit.

4. AI Provider Usage

Vessel connects to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) using API keys you provide. Your use of these providers is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the outputs, availability, or pricing of third-party AI services.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Vessel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Vessel will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The software is under active development and may contain bugs. Vessel currently makes no security assurances — do not use it for sensitive operations requiring hardened security.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quanta Intellect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use Vessel
  • Any automated actions performed by AI agents through Vessel
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party conduct or content accessed through Vessel

7. Your Responsibility

Vessel enables AI agents to perform actions in a web browser. You are responsible for supervising agent activity and for any actions taken through Vessel on your behalf. Use the built-in approval modes and supervision features to maintain control over automated workflows.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Vessel after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
